God is good for this:

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

While we were sinners, when we didn’t know God, nor did we care about Him, He loved us. In fact when we were so unlovable, so totally ignorant of Him, He loved us and made a plan to come ad die for us. God came to die for an earth that rejected Him. God came to redeem a human rave that has no redeeming quality. We were so bad, that not one of the billions of us that ever walked this earth could die to redeem mankind.

Moses, Noah, Paul, Peter David or even the saintly Daniel, none of them were good enough to rescue mankind from their sins.

God loved us when we did not care, and today when society is running Him off and out He still loves us and calls all to repentance.

God is Good for this:

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God is good in that He gave His only begotten Son on this earth to die for us. You say I just made that point, right?

Well a Good and loving God also let’s those that reject them know full well what is waiting for them if they reject Him.

He promises that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Now that’s a downright huge promise, if you believe on Christ you will have everlasting life!

However, He does not stop there. He says that those that do not believe shall perish.

He is a good God for He tells you what is coming, He allows you to make a choice and then at the very end, despite how much He loves you He will allow you to go to the place you desired, the place you chose.

That is a Good God, He does not force you to obey, He gives you all the information and allows you to decide.

The question is not, is God Good? For we know He is.

The question is Do you choose Him or death?

That is all that matters today.

Call on the name of the Lord Jesus, Confess Him with your mouth today and you will be saved.

Joh 12:9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

Joh 12:10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

Joh 12:11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus

People were coming to see Jesus, to witness the power of God and to hear of the Love of God.

Yet many were coming to see Lazarus. Many were coming to see the man resurrected from the dead after 4 days in the ground.

Lazarus is a powerful living breathing testimony to the power of Jesus. So much so that the Chief Priests want him killed.

The people and some of the elites were coming to believe on Jesus because of Lazarus.

That kind of testimony, wow what an effective witness.

We also have this power, to be an effective witness, to be raised from the dead to the living, in newness of life, being a living breathing testimony of the power of God to change lives.

How we might affect the world if we but dedicated our lives to the One that gave us His. To be the Testimony of Hos Grace and Mercy, a vessel used for His Glory to show mankind of the power of a changed life. To show the world the Joy of Salvation, the Hope of eternity and the promise of Life ever after.

You think they hated Jesus? They did. Yet they hated Lazarus just as much for Lazarus was a light to Him.

So too will they hate you and I if we are to live Holy and Righteous lives as He does, if they can not stop us, they will try to distract us for they do not want His light in their world.

We need men to stand in the Grace and Mercy and be a living embodiment of a changed life touched by the power of God.

They may hate us, but what is their hate when compared to the love of the Father?

O death, where is thy sting?

1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The sting of death, brought to us through sin and rebellion. The sting of death, the one that we must all feel for the sting of death is not for that one that has died, no the sting of death is for those of us that are alive and remain.

The sting of death is our pain, our misery at no time is the sting of death what happens when we die, no it refers to the pain and hurt left behind by those that are left.

Yet we do have the Victory through Jesus Christ. For when He rose out of that grave death was defeated.

When that stone was rolled away, at that moment we were given the Victory. We do not have hope, we have a certainty!

For if Jesus is God, if He died, was buried and rose again, then what we have is not hope but a promise. If the promises of God are immutable, unchanging and ever true then we have of a certainty this promise, that we shall one day, be reunited.

Yet if we are to be reunited, if we are to experience this promise, this reunion does that not mean we Should want every one to go with us? To reunite with us?

1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Through Jesus Christ we have found our purpose, we have found our way. Through Jesus we have found some meaning in the vastness of eternity.

Be ye stedfast unmovable ALWAYS abounding in the work of the Lord.

The sting of death can not get to you if they know Jesus as you know Jesus. For come that rapture day there will be a reuniting, there will be a day we will see each other again.

We should be working to take all we can to that reunion with us. For truly there is no sting in death, there is sadness but no sorrow in death for we have this promise, this same Jesus will come again!

This promise that there is a new day coming and in that day we shall see them again.
